The
Algonquin Argonauts are a proud member of POP WARNER.
Pop Warner was founded in 1929 and is the nation's largest youth football and cheer organization in the nation with over 400,000 participants across 42 states. Pop Warner is the only national youth sports organization that requires scholastic aptitude to participate and is committed to developing our youth on and off the field. Competition takes place at the local, regional and national levels. Between 60-70% of all current NFL players got their start playing Pop Warner football.

The Algonquin Argonauts Youth Football and Cheerleading program is a non-profit organization that is run 100% by volunteers working toward the greater good of our community and the benefit of our youth. As such, we are looking for enthusiastic coaches and volunteers to kick-off our 2009 season. If you are interested in volunteering and getting involved, opportunities are available for the following positions:

Football and Cheerleading Coaches (all levels)

Fundraising committee and volunteers

Events committees and volunteers (Homecoming, Algonquin Parade, Community Service)
